Centre member Ben Davies has been running an ongoing workshop series in August and September, funded by the British Academy (IWW24\100229) in collaboration with Dr Lisa Forsberg (Oxford) and Dr Isra Black (UCL), and with partners at Universidade de Caxias do Sul; Universidade do Vale do Rio dos Sinos; Universidade Federal de Uberlândia; Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina; and Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro.
The initial activities involved four three-day workshops focusing on developing skills for postgraduate and early career researchers in publication, writing funding applications, interdisciplinarity, and career know-how. It also includes a commitment to feedback on a draft publication or grant application, and post-workshop mentoring support.
