Our centre member Lijiaozi (Cheer) Cheng has published an article entitled “What is Sub-Optimal Health?” on The Polyphony. Conversatoins across the Medical Humanities.
In her article, she talks about her discovery and the genealogy of the term “suboptimal health” in the context of Chinese medicine, how it fits with existing concepts of health, how we can think about “sub-health” in the context of the Covid-19 pandemic, and much much more.
