New Special Module on Experimental Methods for Philosophers: “Lies, damned lies, and statistics”

Data are everywhere: in the news, on social media, in scientific publications, in political debates. They can inform and illuminate, but they can also deceive and manipulate.
In the module “Lies, damn lies, and statistics” students will be introduced to some key ideas and techniques in probability and statistics. The module is based upon active learning: students will learn how to read and interpret data by designing and running their own experiments. You can find more details here.
